Botox Injections
We offer Botox injections in the forehead, jawline, lips, and outer corners of the eyes. Botox is the trade name for Botulinum purified protein complex made by Allergan and FDA approved. Botox therapy for wrinkles is an injection treatment designed to reduce facial expression lines by enabling the muscles to relax. On the face/neck, Botox therapy works best for "dynamic" lines and wrinkles, and is less effective for fine textural changes on the skin surface and for those lines present at rest. Botox therapy for underarm sweating ("hyperhydrosis") is an injection treatment in the axilla causing the sweat glands to cease working in the injected area
Dysport Injections
Dysport is a sister to Botox, taking effect faster and typically used to cosmetic purposes. Dysport is a prescription injectable treatment made from botulinum toxin type A, used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines), as well as other dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial movements. It works by relaxing specific facial muscles, smoothing the skin for a more youthful appearance. Dysport is also used medically to treat muscle spasms and certain neurological conditions. Results typically appear within a few days and can last up to four months.
